Does the countPULSE or WAYcount provide vehicle classification data?

The countPULSE can generate vehicle classification data when set up with two tubes based on the FHWA 13 Class definitions.

When setting up the countPULSE for vehicle classification, speed, and directional data please follow the information in the countPULSE manual for proper set up.  When completed correctly, the countPULSE will generate vehicle classification binned data based on the United States FHWA 13 Class vehicle definitions. Those axle based categories are represented by the graphic below.  This is the only vehicle classification schema available on the countPULSE.
